Micro markets
An open store in your breakroom.
Your team browses a wide selection on open shelves and pays at a self-checkout kiosk. We provide and install the cabinetry, coolers and kiosk at no cost to you.

What you get
A small store, built to your room.
A micro market replaces a row of machines with open shelving, glass-front coolers and a self-checkout kiosk, all fitted to the room you already have. It carries far more than a machine can hold, from deli-fresh sandwiches and bottled drinks to snacks and sundries, and it stays open whenever your building does.
- Far more selection than a machine: fresh food, snacks, drinks and sundries.
- Tap, card and mobile wallet at the kiosk, with cash options where you want them.
- Cabinetry and coolers built to your room.
- Open whenever your building is, with inventory monitored remotely.
- Employee credits, promotions and subsidized pricing can be built in.

Paying for it
How the market account works.
Most people simply tap a card or a phone to pay. Behind the kiosk, employers can also set up market cards, employee credits, promotions, subsidized pricing or payroll deduction, so the room works as a benefit as well as a store.
- Tap a card, a phone or a market card at the kiosk.
- Credit employee accounts directly, monthly or one time.
- Subsidize everything by a percentage, cover one category, or discount a single shift.
- No cash handling for your staff.
Before you ask
Questions about micro markets.
What does this cost us to get started?
For most locations, nothing. The consultation is free, the design is free, and if you move forward we own, install and maintain the equipment at no cost to you. You provide the space and a power outlet.
What does it cost on an ongoing basis?
That depends on your budget and what you want the program to do. Left alone, the service pays for itself through product sales and costs you nothing. If you would rather subsidize certain items or give your team credits and allowances, we build that in.
How many employees do we need?
Our programs generally fit locations with 50 or more people on site, and micro markets start making sense around 25. Smaller or lower-traffic sites can still work with the right equipment, and we will be straight with you about fit.
What does our space need to have?
Less than most people expect. Anything from the footprint of a single vending machine to a full micro market will work. You need available space, access to power and ideally internet connectivity, and water and ice service also needs a water line.
What payment options are available?
Tap, chip, swipe and mobile wallets are standard on every unit we install, and cash still works. Micro markets and smart coolers can also run on market cards, employee credits and payroll deduction if you want the room to work as a perk.
Is there a contract?
Yes. We put the agreement in writing so both sides know the equipment we install, the service schedule we hold to, the product standards and the term. Ask during the walkthrough and we will go through it with you before you sign anything.
What is the difference between a smart cooler and a micro market?
A micro market is an open store with shelving, coolers and a checkout kiosk, and it needs room for all three. A smart cooler is one secure unit that unlocks with a card or your phone and charges you for what came out. It fits where a market will not go, like a lobby, an upper floor or a satellite building.
